December 2006 Visa Bulletin
December 2006 visa bulletin was released by Department
of State today.
Worldwide EB1 and EB2 remain current and Adjustment of Status application
can be filed currently with your immigrant petition. Worldwide EB3 only advances
4 weeks. EB2 for Chinese nationals only forwards 7 days
in December.
For family-based immigration, FB1
does not move at all while other categories have advanced from 1 to 6 months. Please

十二月份的移民排期
今天国务院刚公布的移民排期,
不论职业移民或亲属移民的排期,
进展均相当有限,
这也再度说明现行移民制度的缺憾,
一部完整的移民改革法案已刻不容缓。
先谈职业移民,
第一类优先,
全世界和中国出生的居民均有绿卡名额,
无需等待排期,
第二类优先,
全世界无排期,
中国居民的排期只比十一月份前进七天,
排到2005年4月22日,
第三类优先,
全世界和中国居民的排期只比十一月前进四周,
排到2002年8月1日,
去年国会给护士和物理治疗师的五万名额已全部用完,
较不常见第四优先和第五优先则不需要排期。
亲属移民方面,
第一类优先,
美国公民的未婚成年子女,
并无任何进展,
仍停留在2001年4月22日,
第二类优先中的第A小类,
是美国永久居民(绿卡)的配偶及未婚未成年子女,
则推进六个月,
排到2002年3月1日,
第二小类是美国永久居民(绿卡)的成年未婚子女,
往前推进一个月又七天,
排到1997年3月8日,
第三类优先,
美国公民的已婚子女,
则推进三周,
排到1998年12月8日,
第四类优先,
美国公民的兄弟姐妹,
则推进五周,
排到1995年12月1日。
在新国会不知何时才会通过移民改革法案的情况下,
有志取得美国绿卡的读者们,
