BASIC DOCUMENTS FOR L-1
Generally speaking, petitioner needs to provide as specific and detailed documents and information as possible to satisfy USCIS recent strict requirements. In other words, documentations include both American company and foreign company which are currently conducting business, their relationship, and the alien being qualified as intracompany transferee. Specifically, following materials of companies are required: 1. Certification of Incorporation; 2. Articles of Incorporation; 3. Any document can prove the relationship of both companies; 4. Recent bank statements for past 6 months; 5. Lease of business premises and rent receipts; 6. All relevant financial statements ; 7. Tax Forms from all governmental agencies; 8. Business licenses; 9. Copies of all stock certificates which specifies who owns and in what percentages; 10. Telephone bills and records; 11. Utility bills; 12. Photos of company offices, warehouses and manufacturing facilities ; 13. Business insurance; 14. Occupancy permit from city or county fire department; 15. Telephone directory listings; 16. Current and original foreign business plans; 17. Proof of conducting business; 18. Forms W-2 for all employees ; 19. Form 941s, employer’s quarterly federal tax return; 20. Specific description of the alien transferee:
